Tiger Muay Thai Trainers
Kru Doug and Naomi Owens

| Kru Doug has trained in several martial arts; Isshen Ryu Karate, American kickboxing, and Muay Thai. Of all these martial arts, Doug is most passionate about Muay Thai. Tiger Muay Thai has been opened since 2007. One of the goals that Doug has for the sport of Muay Thai in Hawaii is to hold sanctioned Muay Thai events. Bring mainland Muay Thai fighters to Hawaii and take Hawaii Muay Thai fighters to the mainland to compete. Tiger Muay Thai also wants to hold exhibition events as fundraisers to help provide scholarships for “at risk” children who train and Tiger Muay Thai and help out with donations to the community. Naomi has been learning Muay Thai since 2007 when Tiger Muay Thai opened. Although she still considers herself a student under Kru Doug, Naomi has gotten approval from Arjarn Tong and Kru Doug to teach the beginners class.Naomi would like to see Muay Thai grow in Hawaii. Besides being the co-owner and coach of Tiger Muay Thai, Naomi will be organizing the fundraisers and events for Tiger Muay Thai. Accomplishments:

Tiger Muay Thai is the only gym in Hawaii that can hold sanctioned Muay Thai fights under the United States Muay Thai Association.
The Muay Thai fights promoted by Tiger Muay Thai will be recognized nationally by other members of the USMTA. All records of the event and competitors will be recorded by the USMTA.
