Man Up and Stand Up
April 17, 2009

Jesse did a great job for his first fight. He was showed a lot of heart. The fight went three rounds and ended in a draw. The first round went to his opponent. The second on went to Jesse. The third one was hard to judge. Both fighters kicked and punched and were pretty composed for heavy weights.

Smoker
March 28, 2009

The match up was Tiger Muay Thai against Nanakuli Kickboxing.

Reggie and Jordan did a little cat sparring as an opener for the smoker.

Elijah and Ezra Bright got it on for three rounds. Elijah took a round to warm up. By the middle of the second round and into the third, the action was consistent. It was very cute to see Elijah in his first match.
The second match up was between Nate and Freddy. This match had a lot of action. Punches, knees, and kicks. It was fun to watch!

Third was Tiger Muay Thai’s rookie, John against La’a. John showed a lot of heart and persistence against the more experienced La’a. John’s most effective technique was the clinch.
Freddy was back in action against Digit. It was Digit’s first fight and he showed a lot of heart. He took a lot of hits to the head but just kept coming back.

The last match was the heavyweight, two new guys to Muay Thai, Tiger Muay Thai’s Jesse and Marcus from Nanakuli Kickboxing. Lots of punches thrown in this match, a few kicks. Great action. Wouldn’t want to be in there with those punches and kicks flyin around.

Thank you for the audience in attendance.

Man Up and Stand Up

Sean Harris match was changed to an exhibition match against Richard Bernard because his opponent didn’t show. The match was exciting to watch with all the leg kicks and leg sweeps.

Smoker
January 10, 2009 at Tiger Muay Thai

The smoker was a small event, instead of competing for a win, it was a sparring match. Derrick Bright brought three of his fighters to fight with Dan, Bryce, and Lil Nate. Coach Rick brought his daughter Li’i to fight Naomi. The fights we good considering they were on a weeks’ notice.
